A Typical Day

While each patient’s schedule will vary, here’s an example of what a typical day may look like in our intensive outpatient program:

9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Individual Therapy, Group Sessions, Psychoeducation

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch Break

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Specialized Therapies (CBT, Trauma, Dual Diagnosis, etc.)

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness, Life Skills

As you progress through the program, your time commitment will gradually reduce to support your step-down to outpatient treatment or independent recovery.

At Oasis Treatment Centers, we understand that seeking addiction treatment can be a challenge for those with demanding schedules. That’s why we offer an evening intensive outpatient program (IOP) to provide a lifeline for individuals who are unable to attend daytime treatment sessions due to work, school, or parenting responsibilities.

Our evening IOP runs from 5:30-8:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, accommodating those whose commitments prevent them from participating in programs that operate solely during weekday mornings and afternoons.

Our evening IOP delivers the same comprehensive therapeutic curriculum as our daytime tracks, allowing you to receive intensive treatment after fulfilling your daily obligations. The program includes individual and group counseling, life skills courses, holistic experiences, and community meals in a supportive environment. Through these various components, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the root causes of addiction, develop coping mechanisms, and establish a strong peer support system.
