What is IOP?

IOP is a step-down level of care that allows individuals to live at home or in sober living while continuing to engage in comprehensive outpatient services. It supports the transition from highly structured treatment into independent living, helping clients maintain sobriety and accountability while pursuing personal growth, employment, and community involvement.
