IOP Program Orange County

Best IOP Program in Orange County, CA

Our Orange County IOP program is the most popular of our treatment options. As pioneers for ethical treatment in Southern California, we are one of the few facilities to offer daytime and evening IOP programs in Orange County.

Benefits of Intensive Outpatient Treatment at Oasis

For many individuals battling substance abuse, an intensive outpatient program offers the ideal balance of comprehensive treatment and flexibility to maintain daily responsibilities. At Oasis Treatment Centers, our IOP in Orange County provides a structured environment conducive to early recovery while allowing you to live at home and tend to work, school, or family obligations.

A Typical Day

While each patient’s schedule will vary, here’s an example of what a typical day may look like in our intensive outpatient program:

9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Individual Therapy, Group Sessions, Psychoeducation

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch Break

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Specialized Therapies (CBT, Trauma, Dual Diagnosis, etc.)

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness, Life Skills

As you progress through the program, your time commitment will gradually reduce to support your step-down to outpatient treatment or independent recovery.

Advantages of Oasis IOP

Some key advantages of choosing our intensive outpatient program include:

Consistent Support and Accountability While you have more freedom compared to inpatient rehab, our IOP keeps you engaged in the recovery process through regular counseling sessions and check-ins. This continuity of care provides crucial support and accountability as you navigate early sobriety.

Affordable, Flexible Treatment IOPs are typically more cost-effective than inpatient programs since you don’t incur residential expenses. The outpatient model also allows for greater flexibility to work or meet family commitments part-time.

Gradual Transition to Independence Our program eases you back into your routine and day-to-day responsibilities step-by-step. This smooth transition lays the groundwork for sustainable, independent recovery once you’ve completed treatment.

Application of Coping Mechanisms
As an outpatient, you can immediately apply the relapse prevention strategies, life skills, and coping tools you learn in real-world situations under the guidance of our clinical team.

A Comprehensive Approach

While outpatient-based, our intensive program leverages the same evidence-based therapies, behavioral interventions, and holistic services proven to foster whole-person healing. We embrace a multidisciplinary perspective, incorporating:

  • Individual and Group Therapy
  • Behavioral Therapies (CBT, DBT, EMDR)
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Mindfulness and Meditation
  • Dual Diagnosis Treatment
  • Family Therapy Program
  • Relapse Prevention Planning
  • Aftercare and Alumni Support

Our low patient-to-staff ratio ensures you receive personalized care from masters-level therapists experienced in addiction and mental health treatment. We work closely with you to develop an individualized care plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.

Evening IOP

At Oasis Treatment Centers, we understand that seeking addiction treatment can be a challenge for those with demanding schedules. That’s why we offer an evening intensive outpatient program (IOP) to provide a lifeline for individuals who are unable to attend daytime treatment sessions due to work, school, or parenting responsibilities.

Our evening IOP runs from 5:30-8:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, accommodating those whose commitments prevent them from participating in programs that operate solely during weekday mornings and afternoons.

Our evening IOP delivers the same comprehensive therapeutic curriculum as our daytime tracks, allowing you to receive intensive treatment after fulfilling your daily obligations. The program includes individual and group counseling, life skills courses, holistic experiences, and community meals in a supportive environment. Through these various components, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the root causes of addiction, develop coping mechanisms, and establish a strong peer support system.

Continuing Care For Lasting Recovery

At Oasis Treatment Centers, we view our intensive outpatient program as just one phase in an ongoing journey of healing. Our IOP serves as the next step for those who have completed medical detox or inpatient rehab and need continued support in an outpatient setting.

For others, it provides a entry point into a continuum of care, serving as a bridge to higher levels of treatment if necessary. Upon graduating the program, we connect you with robust aftercare resources, sober living arrangements, and community-based support groups. Our goal is to prepare you for life-long recovery success.

If you or your loved one could benefit from the flexibility and comprehensive support of an intensive outpatient program, reach out to Oasis Treatment Centers today. Our admissions team is ready to answer your questions and guide you through next steps.
