Here at Oasis Treatment Centers, we recognize that substance abuse and addiction are rarely the whole story. For many individuals we serve, struggles with alcohol and drugs are deeply connected to unresolved childhood experiences, developmental trauma, and the pain of unmet emotional needs. Many of us carry wounds from childhood, experiences of neglect, loss, or trauma that left us feeling unseen, unsafe, or unworthy. Many have spent years believing something was “wrong” with them, when in truth, their struggles were human responses to very real hurt.
Our mission is to create a safe and compassionate environment where healing goes beyond symptom management. We believe recovery requires addressing the root cause, not just the behaviors. We look at the “why”. Our clinical approach integrates a 12 Step program, evidence-based treatment with trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapies, family dynamics, and the opportunities to process difficult life experiences in a supportive community. We never blame others for our current situation. We move into the solution of identifying patterns of behaviors throughout life and begin to heal.
